Plastic graduated cylinders (PMP) are made of polymethylpentene. The plastic funnel is crystal clear, similar to glass, allowing for clearer visibility of the solution level compared to PP (polypropylene) funnels. This makes measuring solutions easier.
Furthermore, this type of plastic can withstand very high temperatures, up to 150-175 degrees Celsius.
